AA allows you to simply change your reservation details, such as your name or travel date. The American Airlines name and date change policy will enable you to alter your flight schedule, and if you fill out the wrong name, you can replace it under the policy. If your ticket does not include free modification under the regulations, you will be required to pay additional fees under the American Airlines name change on ticket policy. You may change the name on your AA ticket at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.
