A Hairpin Type Heat Exchanger, also known as a Double Pipe Heat Exchanger, is a compact and efficient device designed to transfer heat between two fluids. It consists of a set of concentric pipes (one inside the other) bent into a U-shape—resembling a "hairpin"—hence the name.
