The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), a trade group representing chipmakers, has accused Huawei of building a network of secret semiconductor fabs in China.
The SIA reportedly told its members that Huawei has acquired two existing plants and is building three more. It has also received some $30 billion in government subsidies to help.
The SIA’s report has not been independently verified, and Huawei has denied the allegations. However, the report has raised concerns that Huawei is trying to circumvent US sanctions that were imposed on the company in 2019.https://oreonow.com/huawei-acc....used-of-building-sec
