Avdel (India) Pvt. Ltd was established in 1961 and is apart of a well established group of companies with interests in various business sectors including Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive and Rail amongst others. Avdel India is an AS 9120 B & ISO 9001 Certified company. With head quarters in Mumbai (India), Avdel India has regional offices in Bengaluru (the aerospace hub of the country) and sales office in Hyderabad and Trivandrum.
1961 Established in technical collaboration with Aviation Development Ltd, UK. Name of collaborators also changed the same year to Avdel Systems Ltd, UK.
1962 Began Production of Chobert Rivets for Transport Industry
1964 Began Production of Avex Rivets for the Transport Industry (For application in Buses)
1964/1965 Began Production of Installation Tools for Blind Rivets and Avdel Self Plugging Rivets for Aviation Industry (For Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.)
1991 Import and stocking all types of speciality fasteners for the Automotive, Aerospace and Transport Industry in India.
1991-1999 Expanded Customer base to include some Electrical, Electronics, White Goods leading manufacturers in India.
1998 Separated Aviation and Commercial Products Division
1998-2008 Focus on Aerospace - Entered into strategic sales partnerships with various Aerospace Fastener and Speciality Hardware Manufacturers around the world to supply to the growing Aerospace market in India.
2008 Entered into strategic sales partnerships with leading Composite Material Manufacturers to sell Advanced Composite Materials to the Aerospace and Rail Industry in India.
2009 Demerged/spun off the Commercial and Manufacturing business into a separate entity (Avfast India Pvt. Ltd). In order to focus on the distribution of Hardware and Advanced Composite materials to Aerospace and Rail.
2010-13 Set-up Bonded Warehouse in a special economic zone in Maharashtra, India.
2015-16 Appointed as Sales Representative by Universal Weather and Aviation for trip support and fuel services to General Aviation.
2016 Entered into partnerships for product offerings for aircraft interiors.
2017-2018 Separated Aviation and ATD (Aerospace/ Transport and Defence) Divisions.
2018 Aviation Division Enters Aircraft Brokerage Business.
2020Groups its Aviation Division offerings into AVTRIP, AVTRADE & AVCARE for providing expert & specialized services
2020Avdel Aviation adds new capabilities under his brand AVCARE and offers Air Charters & VIP Concierge Services.
