What Is RVSM?
Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) is a standard applied to airspace between 29,000 feet and 41,000 feet. In this range, aircraft can operate with only 1,000 feet of vertical separation instead of the traditional 2,000 feet. This allows for:
